PfMSP3 as LSP Burkina Faso

Development of a Plasmodium falciparum vaccine based on long synthetic peptide derived from MSP3, a merozoite Surface Antigen targeted by biologically active human antibodies.

Assessment of Safety and Reactogenicity of the MSP3 Long Synthetic Peptide as a Malaria Vaccine Candidate in Burkinabè Healthy Male Adult Volunteers. Phase I, Open Randomised and Controlled Trial.

This trial was made possible thanks to a major capacity strengthening effort and a financial grant from AMANET, both in terms of local institutional capacity, and in the form of human resources capacity building via many courses conducted by AMANET.
