Malaria Vaccine Funders’ Group (MVFG)
The group was established in xxx in response to the increasing need to coordinate efforts and inform each other regarding the funding of various malaria vaccine projects in order not to avoid overlapping and double funding. The group meets at regular intervals usually during international malaria meetings organised by WHO. MVFG also holds meetings and workshops on its own as and when relevant, and has produced a White Paper in 2008 entitled Rational Design of Children’s Malaria Vaccines.
